THE GAME: After an eight-day layoff, Oregon State (2-1) returns to action when it hosts SIUE (1-5) at Gill Coliseum in the Nike N7 Game at 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
ABOUT NIKE N7, THE N7 COLLECTION AND THE N7 FUND: N7 is Nike’s commitment to bring sport and all of its benefits to Native American and Aboriginal communities in the United States and Canada.
In 2000, Nike N7 General Manager Sam McCracken had the idea to sell Nike products directly to Native American tribes to support health promotion and disease prevention programs. Seven years after Nike’s Native American division began, the Nike design team collaborated with various community experts and tribal leaders to create footwear specifically for the Native American community, called Nike Air Native N7. All proceeds from the Air Native N7, which is sold through Native American community centers and tribes, are given back to youth sport and physical activity programs in Native communities across North America through the N7 Fund.
Beginning in 2009, Nike expanded N7 product to include a N7 collection available for purchase by anyone inspired by Native athletes and the N7 Fund, which the collection supports. The N7 Collection highlights the N7 philosophy—In every deliberation we must consider the impact of our decisions on the next seven generations—and also embodies Nike’s Considered Design ethos to create performance product engineered for superior athletic performance and lower environmental impact.
The mission of the N7 Fund is to inspire and enable two million Native American and Aboriginal youth in North America to participate in sport and physical activity. Since 2009, the N7 Fund has raised more than $2 million for Native American and Aboriginal youth sport programs. Nike N7 and the N7 Fund are aligned with Designed to Move, a growing community of public, private and civil sector organizations (including Nike) dedicated to ending the growing epidemic of physical inactivity.

QUICKLY: Oregon State is shooting a blistering 57 percent (61-for-107) from the field in its last two games ... The Beavers are now 4-0 with President Barack Obama in attendance ...was named Pac-12 Player of the Week after averaging 27.5 points and 7.0 assists in wins over Portland and Maryland ... Nelson is second in the nation in scoring through Nov. 25 at 30.3 points per game ... posted a double-double in back-to back games for the first time in his career ... Collier has 101 career blocked shots, the fifth-best total in school history ... has scored almost as many points this season (25 in three games) as he did all of last season (26 in 21 games) ... passed Jim Anderson as the fifth-winningest coach in OSU history with 80 victories ... is suspended for the first 14 regular-season games for a violation of team rules.
WIN AT MARYLAND: Oregon State’s win over Maryland in College Park was big for several reasons. Not only was it the Beavers’ first-ever win over an ACC team on the road, but it snapped a 30-game non-conference home win streak by the Terps. It also improved Oregon State to 4-0 with President Barack Obama in attendance with the other wins coming at George Washington (64-57 on Nov. 28, 2009), at Howard (84-74 on Nov. 27, 2010) and at Towson (66-46 on Nov. 26, 2011).
