Residents in Aloha living near 166th and Southwest Oak Stree heard a crash around 12:45 a.m. Saturday. When they looked outside they saw two cars were hit and sitting in the middle of the street.
When deputies arrived they located two previously parked vehicles in the middle of the street. A suspect vehicle had left the scene. One of the vehicles was a pickup truck that was pushed about 30 feet from the point of impact. A second car, a Lexus, had also been struck and was pushed about 25 feet from the point of impact. Both vehicles had major damage.
Deputies did an area check for the suspect's car. They found an Audi that was smoking and had major front-end damage, about two blocks away from the wrecked vehicles. They identified the house where the suspect's car was registered and contacted the owner, 39-year-old Bruce Jones.
Jones was arrested for Hit and Run and DUII.
