Fire destroys houses near Sprague River

Southern Oregon is incredibly dry, because of the hot weather and lack of rain.  A fire that started Sunday near Sprague River quickly grew to nearly 3,000 acres.

Several homes in the Moccasin Hill subdivision were destroyed.  More than a hundred people are evacuated.

The fire is located northeast of Klamath Falls.  The cause of the fire is under investigation.
