Reward offered of tip in downtown robberies

The Portland Police Bureau, in cooperation with Crime Stoppers of Oregon, is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect in four Downtown robberies.

Robbery detectives are investigating four robberies involving the same suspect at three Downtown Portland businesses. The suspect has implied that he is armed with a weapon during the robberies.

The first robbery occurred on June 1, 2013, at 11:47 a.m., at the Benessere Olive Oil Shop, located at 907 Southwest 9th Avenue.

The second robbery occurred on June 3, 2013, at 9:00 a.m., at the Subway sandwich shop, located at 619 Southwest Park Avenue.

The third robbery occurred on June 5, 2013, at 7:43 a.m., at the CostLo Market, located at 631 Southwest Alder Street.

The fourth robbery occurred on July 14, 2013, at 5:20 p.m., at the Benessere Olive Oil Shop (2nd occurrence).

The suspect is described as a white male in his 40s, light brown or blonde hair, balding, 5'08" tall, medium build, wearing a dark colored windbreaker and tan pants.

Crime Stoppers is offering a cash reward of up to $1,000 for information, reported to Crime Stoppers, that leads to an arrest in this case, or any unsolved felony, and you can remain anonymous.
